Wild Friday Night

Tonight I'm staying at home, watching Bridezillas, playing Farmville 2, sipping on some dry cider and waiting for a Queen Helene Mint Julep clay face mask to be done. A super wild night ;P I'm also planning playlists for tomorrow's Club Bella Morte, it's going to be great! I've already decided I'll be wearing my gorgeous DeadlyGirlz corset I got from eBay and I'll be at the very least be playing some Angels of Liberty, Sweet Ermengarde and The Upper Classes. Now back to work! Here's a picture of cats just because.

Outfit of the Day

This one is another find from my sister's flea market pile! A simple black knitted dress with long princess sleeves. Sucks in cathair like a vacuum, but it's so nice and soft to wear that I'm going to try to tackle the hair problem ;D

Seems like the courtyard is the best place to take pictures since there usually wind going just the right direction when taking to account my haircut. I just shaved the undercut, since the turquoise was quite grown out and a short fuzz is so hot on warm days. My mom and dad got me a new hair dryer for my name day gift, and I tried it out today with excellent results. My old one was eight years old and beginning to smell so much like burning dust that it was totally on its last leg. The new one is fabulous!

I'm planning a giveaway, but if you'd also like some specific photoshoot, I'm open for ideas. It's such a lovely weather this time of year that I want to take my camera outside!

Outfit of the Day

Leopard spots for the win! My sister had given me a bag full of stuff to sell at the flea market, but I adopted this skirt to live with me ;P Thanks Anna! I really like the cut, it has shirring on the waistline and buttons on the front. It's also made of cotton, so I might dye it some day, since it really isn't my type of colour. Luckily black goes with everything, so all coloured items are easy to combine with my wardrobe!

Sunday Lunch Look

Today I've been sorting out stuff to take to the flea market next week. There's tons, and the price tag gun I ordered has yet to arrive so I have to tag them by hand. Other than that, I only went out for lunch with my other half and a friend, and decided to do a nice smoky eye look just because :)

I was planning on showing off a necklace that's my sister's old, but none of
the pictures captured it. Oh well! It's a large fake crystal stone in a long chain.

Planeshift and Hallowed Ground Look

I wore this look to a friend's birthday party on Saturday. It was a super hot day, but I still wanted to put on some fancy make-up, because I opted to dress down to be comfortable. So, this is what came out!

I used Femme Fatale eyeshadows called Planeshift and Hallowed Ground, and Snow White by Fyrinnae. Planeshift is a medium-light green with a gold shift. Hallowed Ground is of the same shade of green, but a lot lighter and with a golden red shift. Snow White is a matte black, plain and simple. I applied Planeshift in smoky eye style, but noticed it was so close to my eye colour it didn't look very nice on its own, so I added Hallowed Ground in the middle of the lid and darkened the crease with Snow White. I topped the look with a touch of silver glitter mascara from Claire's and the hot pink shade of the Manhattan Lips2Last liquid lipstick.
