Isn't that wallpaper just to die for? I just ordered some samples, because I'm already dreaming of having a wall that matches our sofa, even thought we don't even currently have any apartment we are going after. Still, it doesn't hurt to drool over some wallpapers ;P

Fetish Party Pic
I just got the picture taken by the photographer at the fetish party, it came out very nice :) I wasn't sure if it's okay to add the photographer's name, so I didn't (if you see this and want your name added, just email me!)

300 Readers Giveaway Winner!
I've had a super busy week, started yoga, ate sushi with a friend, tried to buy an apartment (the seller ended up asking too much for it, we didn't want to pay more than the place was worth!) and ate no less than two types of cake at the office. Now I'm down with a flu, so it's the perfect time to pick the giveaway winner!
There were 35 comments on the post, and this is what random.org said:
So the lucky winner is...
Rakel (Goddess of Gotland)
Congratulations! Please email me at karoliina.kalma@gmail.com so I can send the prize :)
A big thanks for everyone participating! I'll be gathering all the questions in one post and answer them, you had come up with such nice ones.
Just to make the post more fun, here's a picture of a pile of sleepy kitties. And my cute H&M Home bed linen :) |

DJing Look
I was really excited when I was asked to DJ at a local fetish event, I was there last year and really liked it. This year they had even more performances, pole dancing, Japanese style bondage and a latex fashion show. Especially the pole dancing looked fabulous, the dancer made it look so easy!
I was there on my own for most of the evening, since my other half was busy (building a trebuchet from Ikea stuff, that is), but I was so happy that I met a lovely lady who reads my blog who I had bumped into at Lumous also. She and her friends took me under their wing, they were so nice! I met an old friend later, it was so nice to see her again, I think it's been over a year since we last saw each other!
I haven't been to many fetish parties, but the thing I really like about them is that everyone is free to dress as they like and people really work to look their best there! This is what I wore for the evening:
I decided to do a super glittery look and found just the perfect video tutorial, this one. The colours look a bit different on my skin because I'm so pale, I didn't really think of it before starting to do the look, so I did some tweaking in the end to make it look better. I also skipped the cream shadow and didn't use glitter. I haven't worked with glitter that much and I didn't have that much time, so I went with a Sugarpill loose shadow instead.
I followed the tutorial, but added some Banshee on top of Darling to lighten the colour a bit and blended Poison Plum edges with Cuddlefish and Glam Girl to make it cooler. Coffin Velvet and the kohl pencil I used for lining my lips created a nice gradient, since the pencil was a bit darker and cooler shade. Deep Rose blush is my new favourite, it created a nice flushed look but is still glamorous. I'm also wearing black contacts.

Dress - Artifice Clothing
Corset - Artifice Clothing
Tights - Backstreet
Shoes - Pleaser (second hand)
Hair extensions - Some chinese eBay seller ;P
I had worn the dress only to one photoshoot before, it wasn't the colour I expected. Neon pink generally isn't my colour, I like a bit more muted pink to go with plummy purple shades I like. This is what it looked like in the shop, not even close to the real colour! The pink doesn't photo well, I think it's too dark and neon in my photo, but it's still way brighter than in the shop photo. It's also made for someone who has no ass and HUGE bosom, I'm more the other way around ;P Still, I managed to make it work and finally wore it somewhere! It's still comfy and I love the pointed shoulders.
The hair extensions don't match my hair perfectly at the moment, but the flash makes it super obvious in the photo, IRL they looked better. At least I hope so ;P Well, it was dark in the club anyway!
On to the makeup! |

I think the evening went really well. Not many people felt like dancing, but that's okay since there were so many shows to see and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I'm not too familiar with the kinky scene, but every party I've been to has had a warm, friendly atmosphere and people are really nice (except for the one guy with a hungry look who tried to pick up every lady at the party, but at least he was polite and went straight to the point by asking if I'm available). I got my picture taken, since they had a photographer and an awesome chair to pose with. I'm hoping it turned out nice!

Stamps!
A brand new custom made stamp! I'm having a wild Friday night alone at home trying it out and preparing some jewellery to sell at next week's otaku & roleplaying event.
Upper loop of the letter B is kinda lost, but it's still really pretty! I love how rough the edges become and how unique each stamping is. |

It's All Taupe
I re-did an old look! It looked so nice in pictures and is quite hassle free so it's easy to do even when in a hurry. I also tried a different brow shape. What do you guys think, does it suit me?
I used:
Pollen Cosmetics Rare Find (a light taupe, on the lid)
Geek Chic Cosmetics The Pointy End (darker taupe with metallic shimmer, in the crease and blended up)
Sugarpill Tako (matte white, inner corners and brown bone)
Catrice Colour Infusion lipstain in Red & the City
Clear lipgloss (on top of the stain to give moisture and gloss)
