Dyeing Eyelashes

Since I have really light lashes, I like to dye them to not look like a cancer patient when not wearing makeup. My boyfriend is so nice that he puts the dye on and he's really good with it! I use black eyebrow/eyelash dye by Depend, it's called 40 Day Mascara.

Before: open eye

Before: lashes
As you can see, my lashes are pretty much the albino type ;P Very light and the lightest part is at the roots, where it's hard on get mascara on them. But now on to the after pics! After letting the dye sit for 30 minutes and washing it off, this is what I got:

After: lashes

After: open eye

Pretty visible change, don't you think? The dye lasts on the lashes for maybe four weeks, then I'll dye them again when I'm not too lazy. The dye fades off rather than grows out, and there no phase where it looks weird or anything, the lashes just gradually become lighter.

Green and Purple Look

This is what I wore on Saturday! I wanted to try my new Madd Style Cosmetics eyeshadows, so I chose to make a look around Seedless, a light baby pink with amazing turquoise-green shift. It's really amazing!

I used:
Sugarpill Tako (brow bone and inner corners)
Madd Style Cosmetics Seedless (inner part of lid)
Antoinette's Revolution Louis (outer lid and crease)
MAC Fluidline Blacktrack (eyeliner)

Outfit of the Day

This is what I wore yesterday. We went to have dinner with my parents, then to see Näsilinna palace because it was open on the night of the museum's, and continued to a party. A long day but lots of fun!

Top - Gina Tricot
Belt - Only (maybe, it's super old)
Skirt - H&M
Shoes - Spirit Store (second hand)

Then some shots of how to take outfit pictures with cats ;P

Nana wants some attention.

Then looks super scared ;D
You can also see the back of the top, it's really pretty.

Nana the Supercat! With a grumpy Möttönen below.

And finally they both pose nicely!

The Pointy End Look

This is my look from the day before yesterday. It's done with just Geek Chic Cosmetics' The Pointy End and a dab of Sugarpill Tako at the inner corners of eyes. The eyeliner is MAC Fluidline in Blactrack, and on my lips a lipstain that I really can't remember ;P Might be the Lumene Lingonberry Lip Stain in Eternity.

I Never Wear Orange!

Orange is really not my thing, by I decided to experiment since the Never Too Much Sparkle Facebook-group was having an orange theme this week. So here's what I did!

And red lips to go with the orange eyes :)

I used:
Sugarpill Buttercupcake (yellow)
Fyrinnae Rapunzel had Extensions (shimmery golden peach)
Glamour Doll Eyes My Belle (orange)
Gosh lipstain 003 Berry
Evil Shades Hardcore Lips Roue

I think Buttercupcake was a bit too dark for the look, but My Belle and Rapunzel had Extensions worked really well together :) I even went out like this, did a full day at work!

Koala Look!

I went once again for a quick and easy neutral look and used only Koala by Fyrinnae and put on a my-lip-but-better -shade by L'Oreal. Koala has a satin finish and I think it actually has a light pink sheen on my lids.

Fyrinnae Koala on whole lid and crease, blended upwards.

I really need to dye my eyelashes! They are super light
and you can see how I can't get the mascara to the roots.

L'Oreal Color Riche 253 Blush in Nude,
a sheer light pink with golden shimmer.

And my hair-do! I actually had my hair down for most of the day but put it
up for vacuuming the apartment. I curled it again, because I really liked the curly look :)

Beholder and Phantom Look

I wore this yesterday, it's done with Fyrinnae Beholder and Darling Girl Cosmetics Phantom of the Taupera. The Phantom is a really nice shade, it actually has a blue sheen but my camera didn't pick it up well. A very wearable neutral look. I usually don't edit my pictures that much, just fix the colours and contrast and hide blemishes and stray hairs, or very noticeable dark undereyes. Today I talked about editing pictures with my boyfriend, so I tried a few techniques that I knew already and thought I'd show you how it looks!

I played around with Photoshop, this is my one minute edit ;P

Can you spot the differences?

Phantom of the Taupera on inner lid,
Beholder in crease and on outer lid.
