The skirt is by Queen of Darkness. It seems to be a replica of a Lip Service skirt, but the sizing is much more accurate. I own the lip service skirt in a size XS and it's a bit loose on me. This one is an S an fits like a glove. I'm usually an S, so I think it runs true to size. I love the cut, the longer back piece gives you awesome curves because it's gathered just right. While the cut makes the skirt look narrow, it has none of the problems tight pencil skirts have. You can move freely and walk normally, not only in tiny geisha-steps. All the benefits of the slimming pencil skirt but none of the negative effects!

Shoes - Second hand
The skirt has a little tail! |
This one is trying to show how the tail and the clips in the back accentuate even a moderately sized bottom nicely! |
Fabulous outfit, love the boots

You look really pretty in this skirt. And I love your shoes! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteLS sizes wtf. You say your XS is a bit loose. Some of my stuff so small that it's only suitable for children. Seriously I don't imagine a grown up with so small butt.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Lip Service sizes are all over the place! Apparently with the skirt similar to this one it also depends on what color the item is. Mine is grey with pinstripes, that colorway runs large, and some other ones (maybe red with black pinstripes?) are super small. So even the cut is no way to know if the garment fits ;D
DeleteI love how your coordinated the skirt, I've always wondered how to coordinate skirts that length.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The length of the skirt is just right. if it would be a few centimeters longer, it would make me look very short. I think the "fishtail" also helps, the shape is so lovely! I don't usually wear longer than knee length skirts because of the shortening effect, but apparently they can work!
DeleteYou look fabulous, I love the skirt.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!! shoes <33
