Today I woke up early to have time to play with eyeshadows! So let me present to you, today's office look :) I wanted to do something with rusty browns and have Sugarpills Pumpkin Spice in the mix. In the end I used Fyrinnae's Moonchild on the inner corners, Pumpkin Spice on the lid and Fyrinnae's Monarch Butterfly in the crease, blended boldly upwards. Monarch Butterfly went a bit colder on my skin than I liked, so I warmed up the shade by patting ColouPop Fairfax, a warm dark brown, on top. On the lower lid, from inner corner towards the outer, there's Moonchild, a touch of Pumpkin Spice and Fairfax.
I wore a light lipstick for the day, because sushi lunch + dark lipstick is a recipe for disaster ;D After work I put on Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Damned. I think dark lips go well with a brown, heavy eye make-up look. Once again I have to say Urban Decay Primer Potion is pure magic, as the photos were taken about ten hours after I did the make-up in the morning. The only touch ups I've done are blotting, a light dusting of loose powder and adding the lipstick.

Faline and Neutral Eyes
Today I wanted to try out another one of the La Splash lipsticks. This one is called Faline. Faline is a bold dark pink, so I decided to pair it with neutral eyes, but felt like they needed a little bit of extra. This is where my new Urban Decay liner comes in! Yesterday I bought two liners, and of them was just the right shade to go with today's eyes. It's a matte purple called Plushie. I applied Plushie as upper lid liner with the tiniest wing and on the waterline to really define my eyes well. I'm really impressed with the lasting power of both Plushie and Faline, both were almost pristine after a full day at work.

Flyer Photoshoot Look
Yesterday I was at a photoshoot and got to wear my new wig! I bought it from a friend and it's simply gorgeous. In photos it tends to look very blue, but it's actually petrol. But the same happened when my own hair was petrol, so I think it's due to the camera. I need to re-curl the fringe on the wig but otherwise it's as good as new, a great A-line with longer hair in the front and shorter in the back.
The pictures from the shoot will be used for a new flyer for Rogue by Tiina Ulkuniemi, thus I'm wearing some new gear by Tiina! I'll show you the whole outfit later and focus on the make-up now.
I did a dark smoky eye with two shades. Celestial Crow by Glamour Doll Eyes is a dark teal with green glitter. Fyrinnae's Freya is a slightly shimmery purple, lighter than Celectial Crow but not much. For intensity I added some black gel liner and put on false lashes that really open up my eyes well. The brows are done with Inglot gel liner.
To match the dark eyes, I put Fyrinnae's matte liquid lipstick in Desire on my lips. It's a lovely dark purple that goes with many shades.

Can't wait to show you the finished pictures, I loved the outfit! And the horns, of course. I always love to put on some horns ;D I'll get back to sewing now, hopefully I can soon show you the finished kupfer-orange bustle skirt!

Stripe Make-Up
Here's a few close-ups of the make-up I did for taking pictures with the stripy jacket. I wanted a smoky eye with some colour and short brows. And I just couldn't resist the dark purple lippie!
Products used:
Sugarpill Bulletproof (matte black)
Femme Fatale Eternal Trance (metallic dark green/teal)
Inglot gel liner in purple (for brows)
Sugarpill Tako (matte white, for highlights on the inner corners and brow bones)
Red Cherry false lashes
Fyrinnae Liquid Matte Lipstick in Desire

The false lashes work very well for my hooded eyes. Long lashes open up the eyes and give a nice liner look too. I think I should have primed the lids with a black jumbo eye pencil to get the black to look deeper, but I'll try that next time. When I blend out the edges of the black it tends to go a bit sheer.
The camera makes the black fade! I just need to pile on more the next time I do smoky eye for a shoot ;D

Snow Queen Make-Up, First Try
Here's a few close-ups of the Snow Queen make-up I did! This is the first version, I'll do at least one more when I finish the outfit for the shoot. I think I did well on the eyes aside from the lashes, the mint coloured strip they have is too bright and takes attention away from the eyeshadow. I think the silver brows are cool and I like the lips too, but darker lips or lip liner at least might give the look some more oomph.
Products used
Sugarpill Lumi (a shimmery white with a blue sheen) and Tiara (silver, also on brows)
Antoinette's Revolution Marie (pale blue)
Fyrinnae Digital Faerie (bright metallic blue)
Fyrinnae Debonair (medium purple)
Grimas Tip Cream (glitter gel, on brows)
Lumene lipstick in pale blue (with Tiara padded on top)
Mac Fluidline gel liner in Blacktrack
IsaDora Volume & Curl mascara in black
Stargazer white liquid eyeliner
Red Cherry Mint Treat lashes
What do you think? Would darker lips work better?

I like how the eyeshadow matches with the necklace!
I did the white dots with the pointed end of a teasing comb. I would have used a nail dotting tool if I could have found mine.
Too bright lashes! The strip also hides my liner making the eyes less well defined.
All of my eyes shut shots care out blurry, but I think you can see the shadow placement in this one :)
And the lips. There's a sheer blue lipstick as a base and Tiara eyeshadow padded on top for coverage and shimmer.

Fyrinnae Liquid Matte Lipsticks Review
When I heard Fyrinnae had a new line of liquid matte lipsticks, I just couldn't wait to get my hand on them! The first batch sold out quickly but I got to order once the second one appeared. I got Desire, Delicious, Naughty & Nice and Sinister. Here's my thoughts on them.
Desire is a dark, blue-toned purple. It's great for dramatic looks, as it truly is quite dark! To get good coverage you need to layers, and applying is a bit tricky because the second layer melts the first one. For best results I recommend padding the second layer on. This shade also stains quite a alot, your lips will be pink the next day!
Naughty & Nice is a very easy to use red. It's warm and looks like it would suit many skin tones. Goes on perfectly with just one layer, and applying a second one is easy too, just in case you missed a spot. Naughty & Nice isn't totally matte, it has a satin finish, which I like very much.
Delicious is also purple, but lighter than Desire. It's quite bright, but not very light. Applies well with one layer and does not have problems with the first layer melting away if you re apply.

Sinister was a bit of a scary shade for me! I rarely wear blue, but when the description said the lipstick has a similar effect to Fyrinnae's Digital Faerie eyeshadow I just had to get it. On my lips the green sheen doesn't really show, but the shade of blue works surprisingly well with my skin tone. Sinister is a medium blue, and thanks to the metallic effect, it's more of a satin finish than matte.
I have to say I love the formula of all of the lipsticks. They are liquid in the tube and applied with a doe-foot applicator. Thanks to the liquid formula they go on very thin and you don't feel them on your lips. I have many matte liquid lipsticks, but they usually are more of a cream than liquid despite the name and feel a bit heavy on the lips. The cream ones can also crumble if you apply too thick layers. I have not had that problem with the Fyrinnae ones at all. They also stay on extremely well. On my lips 6+ hours without reapplying, and more with a touch up. The lipstick dries fully, so you don't leave lip marks on glasses, partners or where ever your lips touch ;D
Pros
+ Gorgeous and very usable shades (for dramatic looks)
+ Excellent formula, the best I've ever tried for liquid mattes
+ Doesn't smudge, feather or fade
+ Stays on for 6+ hours
Cons
- I'd love a dark teal shade (but there's already a teaser of a matte black or dark grey, so maybe more colours are coming!)

Pink and Orange Look
I did this look for taking pictures with the Queen of Darkness lace top and a China brocade corset. I chose shades that went with the corset and drew inspiration also from Dominiqueldr's look on Instagram. I usually never wear orange, but took the plunge and it worked very well for this look!
I also tried using full scale false lashes for bottoms lashes. They looked good in pictures but were quite uncomfortable to wear ;D
Here's what I used for the eyes and lips:
Sugarpill Chromalust loose shadow in Smitten (metallic pink)
Sugarpill pressed eyeshadow in Flamepoint (matte orange)
Sugarpill pressed eyeshadow in Buttercupcake (matte yellow)
Fyrinnae pigment in Rapunzel Had Extensions (peach with a golden sheen)
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
False lashes by Red Cherry and Sugarpill
IsaDora Lip Chock in Vintage Wine

Smoky with a Touch of Blue Look
I did this look for the 80's party last Saturday. My plan was to do a smoky look but with a touch of colour. My choice for the colour part was Femme Fatale eyeshadow in Dreamstate. It's a dark blue with a green sheen. With the matte black I used for the smoky part Dreamstate looks quite a bit darker than usual, but the green comes out very nicely. The lashes are by Sugarpill, a pair called Stormy.
My brows are done with Inglot gel liner and on the lips is Fyrinnae matte lipstick in Delicious, a medium purple, with just a hint of the same product in Desire, a darker purple, on the outer edges to give an impression of fuller lips.

I really like how the smoky eye turned out and the touch of colour seems to work well. Next time I'll experiment with something brighter to see how I can blend the colours! I'm also very fond of my new contouring shade, Beaver eyeshadow by Make-Up Store. I saw Rose Shock recommend it and hunted high and low for the shade. Seems that the Finnish sellers no longer carried it, but luckily I went on a trip to Sweden and the airport tax free shop had plenty of Beaver ;P
My jaw line is not very defined, but a little touch of Beaver helps a lot and it works well with my complexion. Most contouring products are too warm for my pale Scandinavian skin, but Beaver is a totally matte grey-brown that blends in perfectly. I also own Taupe by Nyx, but Beaver is by far superior. Taupe has too little pigment for my taste.
Any suggestions on what shade I should try next with the smoky look? I have over 200 eyeshadows so I'm pretty sure I can manage almost any shade suggested ;D
