DJing Look

I was really excited when I was asked to DJ at a local fetish event, I was there last year and really liked it. This year they had even more performances, pole dancing, Japanese style bondage and a latex fashion show. Especially the pole dancing looked fabulous, the dancer made it look so easy!

I was there on my own for most of the evening, since my other half was busy (building a trebuchet from Ikea stuff, that is), but I was so happy that I met a lovely lady who reads my blog who I had bumped into at Lumous also. She and her friends took me under their wing, they were so nice! I met an old friend later, it was so nice to see her again, I think it's been over a year since we last saw each other!

I haven't been to many fetish parties, but the thing I really like about them is that everyone is free to dress as they like and people really work to look their best there! This is what I wore for the evening:

Dress - Artifice Clothing
Corset - Artifice Clothing
Tights - Backstreet
Shoes - Pleaser (second hand)
Hair extensions - Some chinese eBay seller ;P

I had worn the dress only to one photoshoot before, it wasn't the colour I expected. Neon pink generally isn't my colour, I like a bit more muted pink to go with plummy purple shades I like. This is what it looked like in the shop, not even close to the real colour! The pink doesn't photo well, I think it's too dark and neon in my photo, but it's still way brighter than in the shop photo. It's also made for someone who has no ass and HUGE bosom, I'm more the other way around ;P Still, I managed to make it work and finally wore it somewhere! It's still comfy and I love the pointed shoulders.

The hair extensions don't match my hair perfectly at the moment, but the flash makes it super obvious in the photo, IRL they looked better. At least I hope so ;P Well, it was dark in the club anyway!

On to the makeup!
I decided to do a super glittery look and found just the perfect video tutorial, this one. The colours look a bit different on my skin because I'm so pale, I didn't really think of it before starting to do the look, so I did some tweaking in the end to make it look better. I also skipped the cream shadow and didn't use glitter. I haven't worked with glitter that much and I didn't have that much time, so I went with a Sugarpill loose shadow instead.

Here's what I used. From left to right: Sugarpill Poison Plum (the purple
in the palette), Maybelline Fit me blush in Deep Rose, Fyrinnae Lip Lustre in
Coffin Velvet, dark purple Mschic kohl pencil (for lip lining), Sugarpill Chromalust
loose shadows in Darling and Magentric, Evil Shades shadow in Banshee, Fyrinnae
shadow in Cuddlefish and Glamour Doll Eyes shadow in Glam Girl.

I followed the tutorial, but added some Banshee on top of Darling to lighten the colour a bit and blended Poison Plum edges with Cuddlefish and Glam Girl to make it cooler. Coffin Velvet and the kohl pencil I used for lining my lips created a nice gradient, since the pencil was a bit darker and cooler shade. Deep Rose blush is my new favourite, it created a nice flushed look but is still glamorous. I'm also wearing black contacts.

I think the evening went really well. Not many people felt like dancing, but that's okay since there were so many shows to see and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I'm not too familiar with the kinky scene, but every party I've been to has had a warm, friendly atmosphere and people are really nice (except for the one guy with a hungry look who tried to pick up every lady at the party, but at least he was polite and went straight to the point by asking if I'm available). I got my picture taken, since they had a photographer and an awesome chair to pose with. I'm hoping it turned out nice!

Goth Look

I wanted to do this weeks challenge for Never Too Much Shimmer group, but just didn't have time, so I thought to enter with an older look that I haven't posted on the blog before. This look was done on New Year's eve for a goth club I was DJ'ing at. I'm wearing Geo Bella circle lenses in brown and have some clip-on hair extensions in. Can't remember what I had on my lips!

I used:
Sugarpill Hysteric
Sugarpill Tako
TheBodyNeeds Blackened Violet
MSCHIC black gel eyeliner
False lashes (small ones on the outer edge only)

Blix Look

This weeks challenge in Never Too Much Shimmer -group was to do a look by Blix from Glitter is my Crack. I chose this look. Since I don't own any of the same products she used, I just improvised with different neutral and browns I had. Not surprisingly, my look doesn't really look anything like her's ;P Her colours any more intense and darker, and the outer crease colour is a redder brown than mine. I still like the result!

I used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Fyrinnae Moon child
Fyrinnae Beholder
Concrete Minerals Doe-Eyed
Mschic dark brown eyeliner pencil
L'Oreal Beauty tubes mascara
H&M false lashes
Evil Shades Hardcore Lips Roue

The colour is a bit uneven, looks better in real life!

Cut my bangs today!

Seems like my lashes have a different opinion as to where they should be.

I think I did pretty well considering I only had one brush to use (the others were all waiting to be washed, I just forgot)!

Party Night Look

Last night I went to have dinner with friends and finished with a house party. It was a long night, but the food was super delicious and the party was wild and had a two lovely kitties attending also :) Here's my party look!

This is what I used:
MAC Yogurt
Morgana Cryptoria Cryptic
Concrete Minerals Unity
Sugarpill Tako
MSCHIC black gel liner
Urban Decay 24/7 pencil Zero
Random false lashes

I primed the lid with Urban Decay primer potion, then added MAC Yogurt on the whole lid to act as a base to help with blending the colours. Then I patted Cryptic on the lid and up past the crease, leaving a little bit space at the inner corner of the eye to make the look a bit lighter. Also did the lower lash line with Cryptic. Added Unity to the edge of Cryptic and blended well. Just touch of Tako on the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye and it's finished! A really easy smoky eye look. Added eyeliner to the waterline and lashline, the just glued on a pair of false lashes.

A closeup of the eyeshadow, sorry I forgot to take a pic with eyes closed!

I wanted to keep with the purple theme, so I chose Geek Chic Cosmetics' lipstick in My Little Pwny on the lips and added some sparkly gloss on top. I didn't really have time to do anything with my hair, so it's just pinned up from one side with a skeletal hand clip to show my undercut. The blush is by Fyrinnae, I think it's Temptation but I seem to have lost the label since it was a free sample and I put it in a jar instead of the bag it came in. A really deep plum shade anyway, one of my favourites!

Full face. You can see I like purple, right? ;)
