Huge Smoky Eye Look

I call this a huge smoky eye look because getting the smoky area large enough was so tricky! I did the look for taking pictures with my new Artifice furry shrug, you can see the pics here.

I wanted a dark, impressive look, but mostly done with black to keep the combination from looking too busy. Adora Batbrat was once again an inspiration! The purple lipstick was a must, because I just got it in the mail and wanted to try it.

Products used

Eyes
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Sugarpill Bulletproof (matte black)
Red Cherry false lashes
HK Center KK bottom false lashes
Inglot gel liner in teal

Face
Misha Perfect Cover BB-cream
Evil Shades loose powder
Maybelline Fit Me blush in Deep Rose
Mac Select Cover-Up
Make Up Store eyeshadow in Beaver (contouring)
Inglot gel liner in purple (brows)

Lips
Fyrinnae Matte Liquid Lipstick in Desire

It's actually quite a simple look. Just plenty of blush, plenty of black eyeshadow, upper and lower false lashes, a muted color for the waterline and a bold but dark color for the lips. Trickiest part was daring to make the smoky area large enough. The camera and lights make the black fade a bit, but it was quite an impressive smoky eye! I feel the waterline and brows give just the right amount of color to the look.

And some close-ups on  the eyes!

Putting the lower lashes a little bit lower than your lashline opens up eyes.

Dark smoky look works very well with long false lashes.

Apparently black glue would have been better for me ;P
