Today I went to the hairdressers to get my hair done just in time for WGT. Elina of Salon Scissor Sister did a wonderful job, as always!

Here's my hair before, I hadn't dyed it since February and had let the bangs grow, too.

| The shaved side proudly showed my natural hair colour: grey-brown-blah. |
And here's the same locks after the roots were dyed with Elumen and the ends and lengths got some semi-permanent dye to brighten the colour. The old black streaks were also re-dyed and the shaved side is now dyed with Elumen turquoise. Elina also cut my bangs so that they are now slanted to follow how the longer hair lays.

Very pretty!!! I hope you'll have fun at the WGT, I wanted to go so badly but I am on a low budget right now. Enjoy!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks! There's a slight gradient and some of the old black streaks are now just darker purple, I think it looks very nice with a few different shades in it :)

What a lovely thing to say, thank you! I think my hair would look ok in it's natural colour if I would spend more time in the sun, since it tends to lighten in sun. Or at least that's what it did when I was a kid, I was as blonde as they come, totally pure cold blonde locks. Now it's still a great advantage to have such a light colour, since I can dye it with purple without bleaching first, so I guess I should be pretty pleased with it :)
