Heather Fields Look

This look was done using a Lumene palette called Heather Fields, which I forgot to take a picture of. Take a look at Hanna's review for pics! I got the palette from a bloggers' meet last summer. I think I've used it twice. The colours are gorgeous, but for some reason my eyes hate it, they water when I wear these shadows. I usually use loose shadows that have a very short ingredients list, so I'm not sure which ingredient my eyes are sensitive to. It's a pity really, I love the shades and they compliment my eye-color nicely!

I used three shades from the palette. Two light taupes and a dark brown. The lightest taupe is on the whole lid, with a hinta of the darker one in the crease. The dark brown is on the lower lid and the outer corner of the crease. There's also a touch of black gel liner, I think this is my best liner application ever so far, it blends so well into the lash-line.

Brine and Fabulous Look

I wanted to use Brine from Detrivore Cosmetics, so I paired it with a lighter version of colour and did a simple look. Today I booked a time for the hairdresser to get my locks in order, haven't had my hair professionally coloured in many, many years. I'm hoping she can do something about the fact that the top layers of my hair fade a lot faster than the bottom ones.

I've been quite busy with everything, studies and work and all, but I hope I'll get back to the once a day update schedule :) I took some outfit pics yesterday, but forgot I tweaked the tripod a bit, resulting in my shoes being cut off in every single pic.

I used:

Detrivore Brine (lid and crease, blended up)
Glamour Doll Eyes Fabulous! (inner part of lid)
Sugarpill Tako (inner corners of eyes and brow bone)
Lumene Sweet Blush
Gosh lipstain 003 Berry
Missha Perfect Cover BB-cream in nro. 13

Sorry for the blurry pic, but you get the idea :)

Got a fancy Hipstamatic effect by taking the pic with curtains closed,
they gave a slight purple sheen to the whole room.

Neutral for the Day, Dramatic for the Evening

I did a neutral look in the morning to wear at work and upgraded it to a more dramatic look in the evening to go to listen to Oldschool Union at a private event.

I put Moonchild from the inner corners to the centre of the lid and continued with Wraith for the rest of the lid and also put in the crease. For the evening, I added some Wraith to make the colour more vibrant (or it might have faded a bit during the day) and put a small amount of Bulletproof in the crease and blended it with Wraith. I lined my waterline with Blacktrack and added some mascara, too.

I used:
Detrivore Cosmetics Wraith
Fyrinnae Moonchild
Sugarpill Bulletproof (added for the evening look)
MAC Fluidline Blacktrack
Lumene blush Sweet Blush

Lips
Lumene Lingonberry Lip Stain Eternity (for the day)
Elf lipstick Classy (for the evening)

Morning look
Just leaving for work!

Evening look, I also put my hair up!

And here's the evening outfit! I added a bolero on top before going out, just in case it would be cold at the venue.

Turquoise Look and Outfit

I bought a black lace tunic last week and noticed at home that I only own black dresses to wear underneath it. I do have some purple, pink and patterned clothes, but no basic stretchy fabric dresses. So, yesterday after work I went and purchased a turquoise dress (and lavender hotpants, but I have no picture of those since the temperature was still below zero), I would have wanted a purple one, but after checking three shops and finding no purple dresses, I made do with the turquoise. Today I put the new dress on and the lace tunic on top of it, slapped on some matching eyeshadow and went off to work. I felt a bit insecure wearing something so colourful, but I think the outfit worked.

For the makeup, I used:

Glamour Doll Eyes Fabulous!
Sugarpill Tako
Lumene Lingonberry Lip Stain Eternity
Elf Natural Radiance Blusher Flushed
MAC Fluidline Blacktrack

My earrings are also new, I made them myself!

Turquoise and black lace

Lace tunic - GinaTricot

Shoes - New Rock

Here's bonus pictures of yesterday's outfit, this is what happens with very interested cats participating! I also have a belt to lessen the sausage look that came from wearing black lace on a black base.

Nana wants attention

My hair is a mess and Möttönen squeezed into the pic

Apparently she just needed to stretch!

Darling Girl Look

Here's a look I did with Darling Girl eyeshadow samples. I think it came out very nice, even though it's very light! Persuasion has very pretty gold sparkle, that would have maybe needed a stickier base than UDPP.

I used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Darling Girl Persuasion on inner half of the lid
Darling Girl LaLa on outer half of the lid and crease
Darling Girl She-bop blush
Lumene lingonberry lasting lip stain Eternity

Look! Sunlight!

Wedding Fair Look

I tried to do a light eye makeup for the Wedding Fair to match the pale pink corset top of the dress I was modeling. Went a bit over the top, but as always the shades look a lot lighter on camera so I guess it wasn't too bad after all.

This is what I used:

Face
MAC Strobe liquid primer (only on the cheek bones on top of the foundation)
MAC Studio Sculpt foundation
MAC Select Cover-up
Evil Shades blush in China Doll

Eyes
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Sugarpill Tako (on brow bone and inner corners)
Scaredy Cat Pink Elephants (one of my favourite pinks!)
Sugarpill Poison Plum
Sugarpill Bulletproof (to darken the Poison Plum a bit)

Lips
Lumene Lingonberry Lasting Lip Stain & Balm in Eternity (I really like this product, it stays on my lips forever)

Full face, I look a bit stern ;) Also my bangs don't like to stay neat.

This looks a bit darker than in real life.

Here you can see my quickly done bun. I would have wanted it bigger, but didn't know how or have the time to experiment.
