Best Gift Ever!

Look at what my other half got me! A hand made unique stuffed animal, in just the right shade of purple, and what a smile it has ;D Or more like D:

My own little fuggler! It's sitting on my table and I don't think it's possible to have bad days with something like that looking at you ;P

Pics from the Photoshoot Meet

I already got the first batch of pictures, yay! Many came out really nice, just like I hoped. These are taken by Jukka and edited by me, but they are mostly original, I've only done very minimal things like fiddling with the contrast on Picasa. With good lights pictures come out very nice straight out of the camera.

First with a black background! I packed colourful tops but it was so busy
I didn't change clothes at all, I wore these to work too ;P

I think this one showed my make-up nicely, even though it's a bit blurry. I'm wearing Femme
Fatale The Nightmare and Faerie Fire, and I glossy lip stain in Vintage Wine by IsaDora.

The light setup with the red canvas wasn't as nice, and I don't think the colour goes well with my hair.

White background had a totally different set of lights which weren't as bright as the other ones.

Photoshoot Teaser!

I was invited to an event with a few photographers trying out their equipment. I promised to do make-up for the models and model my self. What a fun but exhausting night! Here is one shot taken with my camera, the better ones will follow :) I wanted pics of my new hair curled, I hope the pics came out nice. This one is a bt over exposed, but we can just think of it as artistic, right? ;D

Kismet and Tapir Look

Today I wanted to wear some eyeshadow, since I've been staying home sick a few days and I'll be bored to death if that continues ;D Luckily today I was well enough to head to the office, I have lots of interesting things I'm working on.

I used Fyrinnae Tapir, a matte deep purple/burgundy in the crease, and Kismet, a medium pink with golden shimmer from Concrete Minerals on the lid. There's also a touch of Sugarpill Tako on the tear ducts and brow bones, it's a plain matte white.

Summer Memories

I miss the summer already! It's so dark, it's hard to take nice pictures and it's starting to be pretty cold outside, too. I went through my picture folders and here are a few nice snaps from the summer :)

I can't wait for the next summer! Only a little over a month until the days start getting longer, but there's still the cold and snowy winter between me and the spring. I guess I'll start to plan going to the next WGT to forget the sleet and snow that ahead :)

Eclipse and Scabbed Wings Look

I wore this simple look to the office this week. I used Eclipse by Scaredy Cat Cosmetics on the whole lid. It's a great light/medium brown eyeshadow but just doesn't work well with my skin tone, I think it's a bit too red. It has a wonderful green shift, but I guess I just have to accept the fact that it's not for me.

The other shade, in the crease, is Scabbed Wings by Black Rose Minerals. I bought the whole Luciferi collection from Duvessa. The colours are lovely, dark, muted shades, but I haven't yet had the time to try all of them. Scabbed Wings is chocolate brown with gold and magenta microglitter.

Whole face, I skipped lipstick that day!

Crazy Lady Cat

Möttönen receiving much wanted attention from my other half. He really knows how to make Möttönen a happy little kitty by rubbing her ears just the right way while she lays on his lap belly up ;D
